Exploring Ethnic Foods in Lincoln

We are five college students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with varying levels of experience with ethnic food. We wanted to expand our knowledge and palates, so we set out on a project to find, taste and re-create three ethnic dishes. Along the way, we experienced the power food has to bring people together. We re-created dishes from Mexican, Vietnamese and Indian culture. To make our dishes as authentic as possible, we sourced our ingredients from local ethnic grocery stores and markets.
